Head Office Sussex

 

 

Adam Richards   Managing Director / Mortgage Specialist

Adam has worked in the industry since 1996. Having initially spent 3 years as an adviser with Prudential, Adam moved on to become an Independent Financial Adviser with John Charcol. At John Charcol he helped them start and develop their now very successful Brighton office. After 2 years Adam chose to move on again and joined Norman Butcher & Jones. Although Adam remained an Independent Financial Adviser, he again set up and ran the mortgage department supporting 17 fellow advisers. In March 2003 after a further 2 years with Norman Butcher & Jones, Adam set up his own Independent Mortgage Brokerage called Property Finance Solutions.

Having incorporated in April 2007, Adam finally upgraded Property Finance Solutions UK Ltd in March 2010 from an Independent Mortgage Brokerage to a firm of Independent Financial Advisers known as PFS - Financial Services.

 

Richard Martin  Senior Consultant / Commercial & Business Banking Specialist

Richard joined Property Finance Solutions in November 2007.  Richard has been in Financial Services for 20 years and has worked for many of the larger known companies such as Legal and General, Friends Provident and Sun Alliance. His knowledge and experience is a valuable asset to our clients.

Richard deals with all types of mortgages and finance with an interest in the more specialist areas such as buy to let, commercial mortgages, bridging finance and leasehold business finance.

 

 

Neil James  Senior Consultant / Pension & Investments Specialist

Neil James heads up our Pension and Investment Division and is one of our most knowledgeable senior financial consultants. We are pleased to have him working with work us sharing his vast knowledge and best practice with clients and members of our own staff alike. He has been in the industry for over 20 years starting his career with Prudential and in his later years has been totally Independent.

Neil specialises in giving investment and pension advice working with large employers, businesses and individuals alike. Neil mainly covers East & West Sussex, Kent and Surrey although he's willing to travel further a field when invited to do so. Neil has the full FPC qualifications and is looking forward studying for his Diploma. He is 49 years of age, married to Ros with one grown up child and one child that is just about to start college.

 

Martin Betts  Senior Consultant / Foreign Currency Mortgage Specialist 

 

Martin Betts has worked in the financial services industry for 20 years in which time he has performed the role of independent financial advisor as well as setting up and running mortgage packaging company’s and a foreign property and mortgage company.  Martin joined PFS Financial Services in May 2010.

 

 
Matthew Elliott  Consultant

Matthew has been working as an Independent Financial Advisor for the last 7 years.  Prior to that he was running a pension and investment Para planning department for a large IFA company in West Sussex. This involved  researching and putting together Pension and Investment files (both new and transfer business) for a group of 20+ Financial Consultants.

He is currently based in Horsham, West Sussex with his wife and 4 children. Matthew's existing client bank is spread  across the South of England although the vast majority are in Sussex and Surrey and include both Personal, Professional and Corporate clients. Matthew is very proud of his reputation of offering a professional and seamless service which has brought him many client referrals which is how he likes to build up his client bank.

 

 
Benjamin Burgess   Consultant

Ben has a vast amount of experience as he has worked alongside Neil James, one of our senior consultants for the last 3 years. Ben is CeMap qualified and is currently studying towards the CeRER Equity Release Qualification. Ben is our in-house  "Protection Specialist" and provides solutions to his client bank spread across the South East. He is keen to impress and build up his client bank by way of personal recommendation.

Ben resides in Horsham with his partner Alexa and their son Henry, a 16 month old golden retriever!!.  

 

Sarah Williams   Consultant

Sarah has been in the industry for 15 years working at Greenaways Estate Agency as a mortgage advisers before moving to Surrey Independent Financial Services Ltd as an Independent Financial Adviser before finally joining PFS Financial Services in March 2010.

At present Sarah is on extended maternity leave having just had her first baby.

 

Caroline Modestou   Office Manager

Caroline joined Property Finance Solutions UK LTD in September 2010 starting in the role of Pension Coordinator. Caroline is now the Office Manager and has a big impact on the running of the head office.

 

 

Henry Richards   Administrator/ Pension Coordinator

Henry joined Property Finance Solutions UK LTD straight from Sussex Downs College in June. Henry has a Business Certificate, Grade Distinction Merit and has taken up the role of Pension Coordinator.

Abi has joined Property Finance Solutions UK LTD as an Administrator to Martin Betts our senior consultant and Foreign Currency Mortgage Specialist.

Abi has previously worked within the industry for 6 years as a PA to the director of an Insolvency Consultantency.

 

   

Rachel Sitko   Accounts Manager

Rachel Sitko joined Property Finance Solutions in 2003. Rachel is the accounts manager for the head office in Eastbourne and the Leicester office. Rachel brings a lot of knowledge and skill to the business.

Nicholas Hitchens   Director/ Investment Specialist

 

Nick started in the Financial Services industry in 1979 and throughout his career has been invited to join a number of large IFA organisations as an Independent Financial Adviser, including Nationwide, Key Consultants, Homebuyers Advice Centre, Abbey National ( now Santander), NBJ Benefit consultants,          T F Bell & Co, Fehnert Plc and now since October 2010  NJH Financial Services Ltd as the Central Uk branch of Property Finance Solutions (UK) Ltd.  Nick has a wealth of experience as a professionally qualified IFA and is in constant demand from both personal and corporate clients who value his no nonsense, plain English, common sense approach to managing their finances.

 
Madeliene Nicholas  Senior Consultant / Pensions Specialist

Madeliene started in the financial services industry in 1988 and has worked within a number of large organisation during her career to date including General Accident ( now part of Aviva), Granville Insurance Brokers, T F Bell, Fehnert Plc and more recently since April 2011 at NJH FS Ltd. This career path has allowed Madeliene to bring a wealth of valuable experience, from both sides of the industry from high pressure administrative duties to the demanding role as a fully qualified IFA to both personal and corporate clients, to the new central branch team.

 

 

Valerie J Masters   Office Manager

Valerie started her career in financial services in 1995 managing office administration for various insurance brokers in South Leicestershire area incorporating agencies for the Hinckley & Rugby Building Society and Earl Shilton Building Society.  She moved to confidential secretary and branch receptionist at T F Bell, then to Fehnert Plc as the Financial Services Administration Manager, and joined NJH Financial Services  Ltd in March 2011 as Office Manager.  This variety of previous responsibilities allows Val to manage existing and progressive administration systems, maintaining an efficient and FSA compliant organisation. Valerie’s new role also involves direct client interaction to ensure the smooth running of the central UK branch of the business.

As a company we promote a  Continuous Professional Development policy whereby we aim to remain abreast of current procedures and legislation to ensure that our staff remain competent when dealing with your most important transactions.

At present all our consultants are studying towards the new diploma qualifications for 2012
